How to play

Hustle, then kickoff

StampFill your Fan Passport with 11 things people do on Zanzibar: ride a daladala, eat Zanzibar pizza, learn Swahili, a spice farm tour, seaweed farming, a sunset dhow, kanga and henna, and more.
EarnGuide a walking tour for Hassan, wash cars for Fundi Rashid, carry tomato crates for Bi Mwajuma, run errands for anyone on the street (say hello with E and ask "Una kazi?"), drive a daladala route for Mzee Omari, fish off the pier, harvest seaweed by the kilo, beat the kids at beach football, cement shifts, volunteer stipends, madafu trading, bajaji fares and races, pizza runs, penalty bets and the coin rush.
HomeYou start with a chumba (room) behind the daladala depot, rent paid for the first week. Sleep there to restore energy, shower, cook and change clothes. Rent is due every Jumamosi from Pesa; move up to an Uptown studio or a Burj sea-view flat. Your phone (P) orders a boda, bajaji or private daladala that drives to wherever you are, plus food delivery and jobs.
LiveEat before you get hungry, keep savings on Pesa where pickpockets can't reach them (street stalls want cash), bargain at the market, and brake early when the rain comes. Knock people down and the police come after you.
LoseReal prices: daladala TSh 700, Zanzibar pizza TSh 4,000, a TSh 30,000 speeding fine, clinic bills, pickpockets in red caps and cash dropped when traffic knocks you down.

About

Real Fumba, tomorrow's plans

Streets, coastline, land cover and building outlines are real: OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and Google Open Buildings (CC BY 4.0), via Overture Maps. AfconCity sits on the real Zanzibar Sports City site beside the Fumba road.

The empty plots hold projects from public plans for Greater Fumba and the Fumba Economic Zone: the Continental Mall of Zanzibar, Burj Zanzibar, the IIT Madras campus, a 400-bed hotel, a medical tourism hospital, ZHC housing towers, a basketball centre, a film studio, a four-lane highway and a ferry pier. Their designs and exact spots are imagined.

Prices follow 2026 Zanzibar rates (daladala TSh 700, about TSh 2,600 to the US dollar). All money is in-game only. Independent prototype, not affiliated with CAF, the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar or any developer named.
